About Gregory Dean

I am a marketing professional, technologist, author (CBS Interactive, Marketography.com), lecturer and inventor with over twenty years of experience leading one-to-one communication strategies from conversation to conversion… and beyond. My education and breadth of experience spans across the technology disciplines of an innovation-leading CTO to the trend-setting marketing strategy roles of a Marketing Director and deep analytic prowess of a Data Scientist.

Over the past twenty years, I have enjoyed success in C-level technology and executive-level marketing positions. As a Chief Technology Officer for two award-winning marketing organizations, I focused mostly on the technologies that drive business. My CTO role evolved to include a plethora of marketing strategy responsibilities—such as data analysis, customer profiling, audience identification and segmentation.

My understanding of technology and marketing gives me the ability to develop innovative cutting-edge capabilities for the purpose of creating, deploying and tracking direct marketing campaigns across all communication channels—effectively.

Current and past employment…

I am currently the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Jeunesse. Being part of the Jeunesse Global family is exciting, challenging and above all–humbling. Every person in the organization–at every level of responsibility–is talented, team-minded and focused on the success of the organization. It is amazing to watch, but indescribable to experience–first hand.

From March 2015 – January 2018 – I was Executive Vice President, Marketing and Technology for DME in Daytona Beach, FL. Working side-by-side the best minds in the industry keeps me sharp, focused and in tune with the latest marketing trends and emerging technologies–while constantly managing the balance between innovation and implementation.

From July 2011 – March 2015, I was Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the Wilen Group. In this position,  I was responsible for pushing the boundary of risk taking. I provided the technical vision to compliment the business vision, set the tone and direction of the company’s technologies, and set the technical course to define what the company’s products and technologies might look like in two, three, or more years.

From July 1994 – July 2011, I was Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for DME Holdings, LLC. DME is a privately-held marketing company with print services in North America and Europe. During this 17 year tenure, I engineered many of the technologies used in the suite of products and services offered by DME. I concentrated most of my efforts on translating technical details into real customer advantages that are superior to those of competing products.

Graduated summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA.
